Just watched a local news report here in Texas tonight with our Congressman, Joe Barton. He's the chairman of the House committee that's in charge of regulating and controlling energy supplies. He says that prices are now FROZEN, and that all the oil companies are telling him there is PLENTY of oil and gasoline already here in the USA, and in refineries right now, to last for weeks, WITHOUT even tapping an EXTRA 3 weeks reserve, even if EVERY oil producing country in the world shut off their supplies to us tomorrow. We know that's NOT going to happen anyway. Further, they've been broadcasting a toll free number on TV here in Texas to report any "price gouging", and to inform people they're wasting the effort of rushing to the pump. There is NO NEED to panic, rush out to fill the tank, or to pay rip-off prices. Don't let your local greedy gas stations get away with this crap at such a time. Turn them in to your OWN local authorities.
