Gas Tank Light?

Hello Folks,

Out of curiousity does anybody know how much gas (in gallons)is left in the tank once the gas tank light comes on and chimes?

Dunno about gallons. I can tell you I've gone 50 miles after the light came on. In downtown Atlanta.

On the street its about 4 gallons.

After 20 minutes of lapping a track, its about 6 gallons.

Thanks for the input. Up until yesterday, I had never heard or seen the light come on.

Mine comes on, and the tank only takes about 16gal. Means about 4 Gal left (you remainder may vary).

that is correct according to the owners manual and at 12 miles a gallon that gives you about 40 miles and you better pony up to a gas station
