If you want to turn your stock GEN 1 radio into one that plays cd's and you want to do it the "stock" way, I am selling my Alpine 4913 cd adaptor and my Alpine 6 disk changer. I also have 18 feet of cord to use. I will be putting thess on Ebay if nobody on the VCA board is interested. I just wanted to give you guys a shot first. I had them all tested and they work and everything is in good cosmetic condition. I also have a Apline headunit I will throw in, it is model 7513 and is usable with the others, but the adaptor is not needed with it. Anyway, I KNOW the Adaptor is HARD to find. Let me know... Here are some pictures.

What are you asking for it? How does it attach to the original system? Post me. Thanks

I've got it in the classifieds for $90 plus shipping for everything. Surprisingly, on the back of the Gen 1 radio you will find that both the RCA plugs plus the other plug (can't remember what it is called now) all go into the deck. This is so the stock Gen 1 headunit not only receives the signal for the music, but also allows the headunit to talk with the cd player (track 1,2, etc.). Then the 18 foot wire (that is new by the way) connects to the otther side of the box on the adaptor (which you cannot see because of the picture). Then the other end of the 18 foot wire connects to the 6 disk cd player that you would mount somewhere in the trunk. That's about it. It is a very simple hookup. The Alpine deck is just a throw in and I guess could be used in place of the stock deck if you are good with wiring. I just threw that in because I do not need it and it is really in mint condition and I thought maybe if someone really wanted to go to the work of hooking it up, they could save their stock deck from wear and tear. Does that answer your questions? Thanks.:)
