This is one awesome idea. However these cars are so rare that it might be very hard to find those kind of pictures. I would love to see this happens and in that interest here is my contribution. Taken a couple of weeks ago.

That's a great idea! One car parked slightly ahead of the next. I'd love to see that too, you guys have a lot of time to plan something for the next VOI! In the meantime, here's a thread with a few nice side by side genII/III/IV pics

The Gen1's and Gen2's were fashioned after a 30 year old design when they were originally built. It all depends on what you like but my observation is that the Gen1's and Gen2's are more impressive in photos than in person and the Gen3's and Gen4's look better in person than in photos.

Depends who's taking the photo, you can make both look insanely good although I agree to saying that the gen III/IV's look better in person, most new cars these days are like that. But as far as I'm concerned nothing says history like the gen I/II. Still can't find the heart to say I like the gen III/IV except for the fact the ACR is a track eater. I think when you park the two together you quickly notice everything on the gen III/IV's looks about an inch wider in proportions. Then you see the hood and it's just not as unique as it was cause it opens the other way.

Great idea for a thread. Sorry, no pics. But in looking at these, I got to admit it...Those Gen IIs are REALLY growing on me vs. my III. If you are going to be aggressive, why smooth the lines. Oh well, I have your Gen II's DNA!!

In my observation with these pictures as well as hands on experience having a Gen2 & Gen4 I would say the Gen4 has it all over the Gen2 as far as handleing & performance BUT...... I do think as far as looks the Gen1&2 has it over the Gen 3&4 as this is what a Viper should look like all the curves with the mucle bullish looks. When driving in the Gen4 I get alot of waives from vette owners and in the Gen2 they pretended not to notice me, just my thoughts..

first let me say that pic with the bluw w/ black stripes is SWEET!!!

as far as red goes I like the gen 2 the best, then gen 3 THEN gen 1

black = gen 3 all the way.

b/w GTS all the way.

rear end of the car goes to gen 2 both R/T and GTS, however I like the SRTC, comp coupe style tail lights.

am i the only one that this thread gives the urge too? the urge to buy another gen viper from what you already own?
