Gen 1 Wheels - Chromed...

I thought once I ran across a company that advertised it sends you a chromed set of Gen 1 wheels if you send them another set, or something like that. Anyway, I would like to put my original wheels away (they are perfect) and buy a set that are chromed. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

What is the approximate cost? Did you do an exchange?

That was about six years ago, don't remember the $, but it was not an exchange, give him a call.....

I have a set of wheel for sale. If you want to save your originals you can buy these. Good shape, painted black, includes centers. Will sell for what I paid for them.

May be something to think about- t I think the Gen 1 Center Caps are plastic so not sure they can be chromed. Gen 11 Centers are aluminum and fit on Gen 1 rims.

Well, I just bought a set of Gen 2 wheels that seem to be a really good condition. That makes this thread obsolete. Thanks for the input.
