Tonight I took the car for a ride. I noticed the temp was in the yellow @ 75 MPH on the freeway. I would expect that in city, not down the road. So brought the car home and let it idle in the driveway, trying to see how high it would go. The check engine light came on so I shut it down. Checked for leaks, nothing (good). Decided to see if the coolant was low. So I pulled the hose off at the radiator cap and topped the car off. But I noticed a small hole in the hose. The hood hinge had pinched the hose and put a small hole in it. The car could not **** coolant from the overflo bottle and air got into the system. I cut the last 6 inches off the hose and reattached it to the radiator. Took the car out and problem solved.

Also add a hose clamp as some cars will **** air in that way also instead of drawing up the fluid from the fascia bottle.

I found perfect size hose clamps for the connections from the radiator tank to the overflow bottle in a little pack in the misc. section of Murray's. There are 8 in a pack, 4 different sizes, and the package was labeled help.
