We have a full set of Chrome Rims for sale. Here is the story. Purchased in 2007 OEM Chrome Rims. Used as a second set for different tires, minimum use. Just recently we cleaned them and discovered that they were painted over with chrome paint and a clear coat. AHH!...Willing to sell as is vs. re-chrome. Offers are welcome. Please forward any questions you may have.

I don't think it probably matters that much, but are you sure they were even modified? The stock rims were polished aluminum with a clear coat over it I believe, which can go hazy over time and kind of looks like what is on your rim, but hard to say without seeing in person.

See attached photo. Clear coat over the chrome may be the case. In the photo attached you can see a shining surface under the clear coat and then tire mounting machine could scratch the clear coat.. If it is clear coat may be able to machine polish.

Thank you

I have a sew set of 5 spoke rims for $1900. Color front and rear are mismatched slightly. 18.5" fronts, 19" rears.
