GEN 3 OIL FILTER

Hello all 2nd viper but 1st post ever on this club.
Just got my 2004 srt 10. Its time for my 1st oilchange. Does anyone know if the oil filter form a gen 2 is the same as the gen3 (srt 10) i have some left over from my 2000 gts? please advise
