Gen 4 KW shock???

Can you the fork on a gen4 ACR KW rear shock be removed???

Slide the body into a lathe chuck and snug it down. Place a stiff round rod thru the clevis to stop the fork from rotating. That should unscrew it easily.

I have the KW's too (on my GenIV) n' a while back I was considering having them refurbished (just cuz of their age).
Called KW and they said to ship 'em over and they'd do a full rebuild for a reasonable price. I don't recall how much $$, but it wasn't bad.
