Does anybody know what the difference is in the engines between the two HP ratings?
Gen 5 HP ratings of 640 & 645

None, SRT said It was a recalibration of how it's measured, so you can think of it as both really make 645 or 640 ... probably the former and they lowballed it and had to correct up a few ponies for compliance/regulation purposes. Kinda like when a MPG changes for now reason, because of a calculation change.

This is a good question. Most of the 2015 SRT lineup got a 5hp boost due to this calc change.

Oh yea, I hear you on the"more than powerful enough stock" My 2013 GTS is a really amazing to drive. The ESC and TCS systems are very functional. I only have 1300 miles on car and need to have a better handle on these systems and the effect they have.
