Yeah that shouldn't occur. Cold tires for me wheels will hop a bit but once warm all good.

2013 GTS with stock Corsa's.

My car doesn't do this. What tires and suspension do you have? I ask cause I'm wondering if maybe base cars, with base suspension and base tires are an issue ... I haven't driven a base car so I don't know, I can only say that my Corsa/Track Pack/ElectSuspension car doesn't.

I've experienced wheel hop on my base SRT. I attribute it to the traction control. Turn it off and there's no hop at all.

I've had the Viper out a couple of times now that the temp is a little warmer, and NO wheel hop with traction control on or off. I guess the colder temps and the stock tires don't like the cold air. Thanks for all the info and posts.

There is no question the warmer temps and pavement almost eliminate the wheel hop in my car.
