Gen II Fog Lights

Looking at purchasing a 1998 GTS that's missing the lower fog lights. Any idea where I can find replacements? Have to check but I believe all the connections are there...just need the rest of the parts.

CHeck with 99RT10, JonB, Tator, Sharfs, classifieds, etc. You'll find some.

i never actually checked but im pretty sure its the same unit as a 1998 dodge ram 1500 front fog light assy. I visually compared it to my truck back in the day but never took them apart to confirm. it might be cheaper.

Yes, Gen 3 lights are 1/2 the cost of the Gen 2 lights.

The SRT solution works for most, the Ram hint does not.......

However: Did you ask WHY the fogs are missing? It pretty much shouts a front-ender.

Or like mine that had been broken by rocks so they just put a blank cover in place of the lights (which I had never used anyway). ACR's also had the optional fog light deletes, correct?

Once you get those in, you may want to consider the protective lens cover on top. I actually added those to my car, see post #9 on this thread.

If Mike (99RT/10) doesn't have them then they never existed in the first place.


Here's a shot of Mike's garage and every crate in the picture has Viper parts in it. I think that might even be Mike in the picture.

Gen 2 ACRs did not come with OE driving lites, just factory backing plates.

Gen 4 ACRS ditto, except for Canada.... Canada ACRs have driving lites.
