Gen II front door speakers

Need some info and advise. What are the size of the Gen ll door speakers, and what speakers will fit without modification but are better than factory. Would like to keep the original factory covers though if possible. If not, nice looking covers. Thanks

Fronts are 6-1/2's. Rears as well.

You can plug the make/model of any vehicle into the Crutchfield website and select location of speakers and it will spit out a list ones that will fit.

Ive only taken mine out though. As well as the amp & rear subs. Havnt put anything back in as a music system is useless in Viper with headers & catless exhaust.

When I bought my car I installed a new Alpine head unit with iPod adaptor, upgraded amp and rear sub. Such a waste since I never turn the radio on. No cats with 2 Borla mufflers is my music.

I used 6.0" kicker components in the front and 6.5" kicker mini-subs in the rear
