It seems to me that every Viper I've had shows more of a tendency to buck at low speeds. I think I may just be used to is and don't really notice it too much in my Gen 4. I notice a bit at low speed in my supercharged Gen 3 but even then not so much.
I asked Herb this question before the 08's were released. He commented that these problems were history because of the new Venom controller. And that has been my experience.
Never had any bucking/surging issues. I do a lot of rush hour driving in my car (40mi/day and 26,000 miles on ODO) and have never had this issue. I had heard the Gen 3's might have had this issue though.
I also had a lot of bucking with my 97 GTS.Loved it.No bucking with the 2008 Viper.It sure popps nice and loud.I would not care if it bucked,thats just means it is ready to go.
