I found 3 at this price so far, one in OH, one is GA and the other was in MI, in the $96-98k range. If I were going to go with red, meh, and a '13 it'd be around xmas time, when more desperation is in the dealers' minds. But waiting on ACR or vert news, geesh. Plus the silver is something I've been waiting for and it's in '14 (reportedly) which would be the price diff to me to get exactly what I want .. of course they took the TP from me, the only option I was interested in, so I guess I won't get "exactly" what I want no matter what, whithout having to aftermarket mod it. Humpf.

having a liabiility on your show room floor that is over 2x your next highest price will get dealers anxious. Esp when they all thought they would cash in big.

Great deal for a red one. I have a red one now and thinking of either black or white for the 2013. Wouldn't mind having the track pack though.

Recently bought a Gen V, haggled with many dealers and saw invoices on almost all of them. Dealer has about $7000 to $7500 profit
based off
MSRP. Of course this does not include any incentives Chrysler is offering the dealers, nor does it include any interest on financing. MSRP of $108k, selling for $97k, they are selling below invoice. My car MSRP $120k, invoice $112,668. I looked at about 8 cars, both srt and gts, saw invoices on almost all, mark up was consistently about $7k.

Dealerships only make $300 on a car haven't you heard??

That amount sounds about right for the 2013 model year net profit average on all "cars" sold if the dealer had and sold only one or two vipers. - ($25,000 fee to sell the Viper in USA ... only $15,000 in Canada but very few GenV's).

There is typically greater volume/profit with Ram and Jeep.

.. nor once 2014's start hitting the forecourts for stock.
The 2013's will drop a tad more. Makes sense to shift them now while the can. Especially with winter approaching.
