Hey guys.. Spotted this hiding on Autoblog. Has it been posted?

Good call. Don't get me wrong, great looking car ...I just think they uber dropped the ball on originality. A Viper should look like nothing else on the road..not a little bit of everything on the road.

The one thing that has me a bit worried, is the seemingly less open/aggressive opening between the hood at the doors, whatever you Viperguys call it. To me, that's one of the key aspects to the Vipers design. It looks toned down, more closed and not as eye catching when looking at that (admittedly blurry) rear 3/4 view.

Anyone else notice this?

Oh...that's the car. If they didn't want the possiblity of people seeing these pictures...they should have sent the people through a metal detector like they did us in Utah!

Good, me too. These blurry shakycam pics don't do the car justice I think. I'm waiting for high-res pics and videos since I can't be there in person. But pics are pics, and we've been going back and forth over a toy car so at least these are of the real car haha

Supposedly, there's going to be a webcast of the unveiling tomorrow night so hopefully folks will get a clearer view of the new Viper. I'm certain there will be no shortage of pics posted here tomorrow night.

Looks like that's the Gen V. Still not impressed with the hood or the fender openings. I will, of course, reserve final judgement until I see it in person.

I'm sure the interior and the powertrain will be the biggest improvements.

I was thinking the same. Red jokes aside, I do love the Red color but it would be nice to see it launched in a different color for a change.

YAWN! I mean, put an ACR next to that and what a big, fat yawn. Biggest disappointment is from the side. The fender flare is SO TONED down now, it barely has an opening. I just expected something a lot WILDER and ORIGINAL considering the hype/wait. I feel like everyone ******** about a return to Gen2 got their wish. Now we have a new viper that doesn't look better than an old Viper. Just not mean or wild enough. Corvette can eat their lunch, easily now.

These images are from forza motorsports, in game renders. I think it looks great.

The forums for the Forza 4 video game says these images are from the game. They show examples of how the backgrounds and tire smoke are the same as in the game. However, they believe the game may have done an early leak on the images they were given by Chrysler.
