You know the black post at the top rear of the door on a RT/10? I think the seatbelt attaches to it. It aligns with the black strip at the front of the rollbar to visually look like one piece wraps around the car.

Mine is perfectly in alignment on the passenger door but bends forward on drivers side. The gap is at the top. Is there an adjustment? I have a digital camera and am waiting on my Viper membership info to come back so I can post a picture.

We removed the plastic trim off of the door (post?) and used a pair of heavy channel locks to grip the metal and bend it into shape.

Sounds like the same problem that you are describing at the top of the post near the sport bar the top of the door did not align evenly. After the tweaking job it looks perfect.

It probably is not the door hinges, IF the door is straight, and spaced properly with the side sill.
Perhaps what Trepilot says will work.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about.
Interesting...I'll try it. Without looking at car since it is in storage, how do you remove the plastic trim?
