If you decide to buy a replacement, know this. Chrysler does maintain an inventory of Gen 2 windshields which they will ship to a dealer near you. They do not check them before shipping and there is a GREAT likelihood that they will be broken when they arrive. This is because they are broken before they leave. I gave up after two windshields showed up broken.....theory is that any glass sitting in a box on a rack in a warehouse for 10+ years is going to be moved and potentially broken. Chrysler was good about it and ate the shipping on the second one....but it too was broken. They manned up and provided a refund. I ended up going with Safelite, price was about the same AND they show up with glass that isn't broken. If you're in a rush - don't count on Chrysler's inventory.
