Am I seeing things or is it that the Gen2 Black is a much deeper blk than the Gen3...

Not exactly sure what you mean by "deeper." My first-hand experience is that the Gen1/2 black cars have better finishes than the SRT in black.

Tony, you may be right. I used to paint cars and contrary to popular opinion black is not always the same. There are very different varieties available. I just saw a red SRT lask weekends at Heffners, beautiful car, one of my thoughts was that it was a redder red! My analysis was that the clear coat might be more or less, if less I think it would make a red car redder and a black car more deep. Just my wandering thoughts.
