Some UK Viper region members drove out to the Le Mans 24 hours race in France this year, and on the return, Tom was captured...was he speeding?! He hasn't admitted to exceeding 150mph, but these pics turned up... What's the real story?

On my first trip from Marseille, where my Viper was shipped, to Geneva, I was stopped by the Gendarmes just outside a tunnel. After the presentations, the Gendarmes ask a few questions on the Viper, mainly on why I did not have a front plate, and just as I was leaving, the younger one bent over and said: "There are no more radars from here to Geneva. Enjoy it !"

I have seen this on one of those Police Wildest Police TV shows.

Tom was doing an alleged 5mph out of a French camp site, the slow speed chase lasted 5 yards and he spent 15 minutes trying to find the front number plate in the boot, then a further 10 trying to convince them it had fallen off.

It's always the same with those French cops. Hardly any better than their US counter parts. They see a foreign number plate, pull you over, give you a fine and expect you to pay on the spot.
Luckily there's the Euro now and you don't have to cough up those stupid French Francs anymore.
Obviously, being French, those morons only speak French (one way or another they still think Paris is the center of the Universe).
I remember smiling at some of that **** while insulting with what ever I could think of in any other language.

Yes, there is some bad blood.
Voila, got it out of my system

Hey...you Brits rock! I was getting worried that "Franco-bashing" had fallen by the wayside.

(Well...their fleet did help us send you guys home...but hey...nothing like high taxes to annoy we yanks, eh...)

BTW, you guys need to send ***** Harrelson to Paris. He'll fit right in with the knuckleheads there.

I'm a Paris Air Show veteran...many times...man I wanted to light the 'burners ("re-heats" to you guys) in that F-14 over this one restaurant where this little ******* waiter copped a nasty attitude a few years back...

Enough rambling for now.

Cheers!
