Hi Bob,

Those dash kits have the 3M tape on the back that will adhere to anything and then some... Only thing I can think of is excess Armor All or a bad set. Strangers things have happened.

The peice around the center console around the 2 speakers have fit perfect everytime for us. The dashes are cut from an exact pattern on a machine and are the same every cut. One trick , which I think I wrote in the directions is to lay the dash in the sun for about 5 minutes or put on a hood of a hot car and the dash becomes as plyable as Saran Wrap..! Peice of cake to put on after that.
The two peices that fit around the door handles fit fine. you have to remove the door bezels to put those one ( So in answer to your question, yes it does fit). Those are the only peices you have to remove to put the "dash" kit on. (You have to "slide" the bezels off, pretty easy to do)

Gimme a call Bob anytime.. Is it all peices or just some or one pcs that are coming off?

I have a CF kit from Gerald and I have had no problems at all. It sounds like someone didn't do a good job cleaning the dash in the first place. The directions need to be followed to the T. You wouldn't put on Z5 before you put on the Z1, would you? I followed the instructions and had no problems. Actually, I can't take some pieces off. You need to ABSOLUTELY have the dash perfectly clean. Use some towel with gas on it to remove the Armor All or whatever you use, then clean it with the alcohol. Next use a hair drier to heat the dash and the CF piece until the piece is maleable. It will be soft enough so that you will see it flex and somewhat droop. Then you lightly place it on it's location. Press the air out from the middle out. Once in place, heat it up again and keep pressing it on. Like this, it will never have came off. The easiest piece was the center speaker piece, the hardest was the door bezzels. You do need to remove the bezzels and be careful not to break the tabs off. They come off by slideing them to the rear of the car. Mine broke and I got new ones from JonB. They do go on really tight though. If all was followed properly, it would have been on fine. IMHO, they were incorrectly applied....

It is supposed to be pliable for installation, that is the whole idea. beign soft makes the 3M tape on the back heat up and grip. I can't tell you more, it worked fine for me as I told you in my directions. I just tried to lift a piece and it doesn't move, so I still suspect a cleaning problem. I am not offending Nick of Modern Performance AT ALL, it just seems strange to me that your kit had such a problem. Do you have the grey dash or the vinyl dash?
