So is there anyone else here that will be attending this rally? Our company is one of the sponsor's for this year's event. I'll be driving my '99 ACR with a friend of mine as co-pilot, but word is that there's 4 other Vipers that will be in attendance. DUSTBALL has been around for a couple of years, from what I read, and it seems like a good bunch of people... We'll see how it goes!
This will be my first time participating in one of these events and the fact that it's a gimmick rally (solve puzzles and figure out what city you're driving to!)I think will make for a fun time.
My car is currently in Houston at a friend's shop getting all fluids changed, ****. injection, and a complete (temporary) makeover.
So before I get crap for what I'm doing to my car, may I inform everyone that this is TEMPORARY. It's not paint and it's not a wrap.. it's called Plastidip. I've used it several times before (mostly on my daily) and I really like it for the simple fact that it can be peeled off like a decal whenever you get tired of the look.
The final color will be a "Matte Yamaha Blue" with matte black wheels & gas cap. The black seen in the pics. is used as a base color only (think "primer"). It's a cheap way to change up the whole look of the car, which is exactly what I wanted for the rally. Search "dip your car" in YouTube and you'll see how popular it is with all sorts of automotive crowds.
