I went the blower route with my second Gen2. It ran 10.85 and trapped 134mph. My Gen4 went 10.76 and trapped 133.7. Having experienced both forced induction and naturally aspirated, if I was to get another Gen2, I would do the heads, cam, and tune no question. Best bang for the buck mod and you can always add a shot of nitrous if it's not enough for you.

What is the approximate cost difference between stryker and greg good heads? You prefer the na because of smoother power delivery or something else? I am close to pulling the trigger on a used paxton but may consider just getting some heads.

Never priced Greg Good heads but I'm guessing Strikers would be at least double. But you're getting a second set of heads that are a superior design to the stockers and also a $1K+ Jesel roller rocker setup. The heads are beautiful as are the rockers. But you can't go wrong with GG.

I prefer NA for the simplicity vs. a blower. I'm finding I have less and less time to dink around with stuff so whatever I can set and forget gets the nod.

Had to head and cammed cars and two supercharged cars. No comparison head and cam all the way. Heres the easiest way to explain it.

Na car you worry about exterior/interior and engine

Fi car you worry about exterior/interior/engine and supercharger

Havinf fi is now haveing two seperate entities under your engine that must be compliant to eachother al all times or faiure will occur

Why spent all that money? My mostly stock 04 runs 11.55 but never topped 123mph. It has just a few bolt-ons the list is as follows. A mail in tune from DC Performance, A ported intake from Todd at BBG in Sacramento, A BBK TB, Good wires from Parts Rack, Thats it to the motor. The drivetrain has a drag CF clutch From BBG and OSGiken with 3.55 gears from Unitrax. Solid axles, M&H drag radials@ 18psi and a Line lock. The interior has a launch light, a shift light, a shift beeper, and a digital tach from PLX which is a great help since the stock tach is hard to read. I set my modifry shift beeper to start to come on at 1500 rpms below the shift single beep 1000 below a single beep 500 below another beep then at just below the shift point a long beep which is when I look into the digital tach and bring it exactly to the rpm I want to shift at which is my peak point according to my dyno sheets. The perfect run 11.55 et. Just above the 11.5 you have to stay at before a major modification would come into play.

Good luck trying to find Strykers; I think Jeff quit making them. There's one person on the forum who claims to have a set that can ship, I believe they're $7-8K.

I heard the business was for sale. Not sure what the status is but I hope someone steps up and takes over. Awesome product.

Wow. Didn't realize new heads or reworked ones cost so much. Just picked up a paxton. Hopefully that will get me to 130. But now I might need a cage.

I think Plum can answer whether a stock Paxton will get you 130mph.
