Going to New Mexico...anyone around there?

Hey fella's I am heading to Angel Fire in New Mexico on Friday and staying through Monday. Anything cool to do around there? Any Viper activity? I won't be in mine, but would still like to meet up with any folks in the area.

Welcome to the Land of Enchantment. I don't know of any VIPER owners up north, near Taos and Angel Fire, but it is a beautiful part of the state.

Some things to consider doing while up north:

1. Visit Taos and eat some good mexican food. Visit the Taos pueblo
2. Visit the Santuario de Chimayo in the town of the same name
3. See the Rio Grande Gorge bridge
4. Visit and gamble at any of the casino's in N. NM
5. Check out the ancient cliff dwellings at Bandelier Nat'l. Mon, just west of Los Alamos.

You of course have to drive the whole Enchanted circle route.

Angel Fire -> Eagles Nest -> Red River -> Taos and back to Angel Fire.

Riding the chair lift to the top of the mountain gives you some great views.

The trails are nice to hike on up there.

Mountain Biking is pretty popular there as well.

Sound good. We have a family place up there in the mountains...have for a year now. Just wasn't sure what else there is to do. Biking, hiking and eating? Bill's check list looks pretty good.
