Jesse, thanks for the absolutely great post. Who is Chuck Taylor, and where is he from? I need a tech as well too!

Hi Vin:
Not to worry...we ALL know the feeling of buying a Viper!
Anyway, $46,000 is a great number for the car you described... obviously depending on all other things being in good shape. You should take a look in the classified section of this board to get a better idea of prices. Assume that all VCA members cars are in excellent shape (unless otherwise noted).
Now for the fun part
...
Jesse is my daughter's name, most anyone here calls me city.
Chuck Taylor was a basketball player in the 60's (I believe). Chuck Tator is arguably the best Viper Dealer and Tech in our region. He's in South Salem, NY which is a 50 mile drive from us, up the Hutch and 684 (under an hour with no traffic). Trust me when I tell you that you you will want him to be your dealer and tech. He's the man!
Let me know if you need any other info. Don't know what you've been driving, but your Viper will be a handful for a while...so take your time (translation: be humble/careful) and be safe. Make sure you're pointed straight when you play with the fun pedal.
