Good Grief, whats this?

While cleaning my srt passenger seat I discovered two very visible large black painted metal loops between where the seat bottom and seat back meet.
Is this normal? Now that I have seen them they are quite noticeable. Doesn't seem right to me. Anybody else have them? They are not on the drivers seat. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer.

Yep, got 'em too. Wife hasn't complained yet, so no worries.

They are liquid drainage ports to prevent fluid accumulation in the seat base after you scare the piss out of the passenger.

yup, it's called latches for kids seats. I should know, I have 3 kids. My wife was very impressed when she saw them on this car. :2tu:
