Just a test and tune.........everyone was a winner.

Lots of cars.....as for Vipers, myself and Mike S (Mike99acr)were running. Chuck was there along with a few others. Lee Saunders came with his Neon SRT-4 with our new BTR exhaust system and Boost control.

Times were;

My best was 11.18 on motor (typical warmup)
10.05 on nitrous

Mike ran a best of 11.62 (which was his all time best pass). He has headers/exhaust and e.t. streets.

Mikes car later ran a very impressive 11.30. Very strong car for its minor mods!

Lee's Neon ran a very impressive 13.20, 13.23!

The weather was much warmer than we thought it would be, and humid as well. Temp at race time was 81 F.

Lots of street tire imports and usual ricers, and the track got slippery when lots of power were applied to it. I was on brand new e.t. streets and the combination of new tires and unprepped track resulted in wheelspin and poor 60' times for me.

In a nutshell, everyone ran good, had a good time, and went home without breakage or maintenance. Looking forward to going again soon.

Gasp! Everyone take note - Welch being modest. It was Tom that ran the 11.3 in Mike's ACR, which BTW also has VEC-1 along with the mods Tom mentioned.

I didn't wanna post times without permission. I know how some of these Prima Donnas are about their ultra secret 1/4 times.

Adjust on the fly controller mounts in the flightdeck and allows for controlling boost while driving.

Not your typical brass or plastic $ 3.00 item.

Tony,

Damn, and I thought we could get into an argument..LOL

I also have used the little brass valves before on Buick GN's....they are foolproof, but not fancy.

I've installed the Mopar Performance Stage 1 upgrades on a couple Neon SRT-4's and was quite impressed with the power it produces. Next upgrade for both is LSD, they definitely need it...

Thanks for clarifying what Tom posted Chuck. I would not want no one to think I ran 11.30 in my car, thats why I did not post any times saying I did. I am very happy with the time Tom got out of my car and now I know what its capable of. You might be surprised what yours would run if you let him drive it. By the way you forgot to mention the rest of the mods, it also has tape over fog lights and wiper arms removed. Are you refering to me as being a Prima Donna?

Now Chuck you stand in one corner and Mike in the other corner and neither one of you come out until you can be civil to each other.

What happen to Antonio and Chuck's race...it was a rematch from Gainesville...did they run each other???

You mean civil like you and Tom were :D . Some people are jealous and others are sore losers. Then you have some that are both.
