Well I picked the car up today around 1 p.m. I took it to my buddies shop and we put it on a lift. Everything looks good on the frame- i can see where it was welded in 1 spot near the drivers rear wheel. The car does have air but it doesn't work. I will try a shot of freon. We changed the oil with mobil 1, changed the battery, and I took it home and cleaned it for about 6 hours. The car drives great. It is more comfortable than my vette (88) but gets very hot. It also seems faster then my vette with a 383 motor, even thought it's much quieter.
My main problems are the sagging front fender which is leaving a big gap between the fender and the hood. You can see it in the first pic. It makes the car look lik sh*t. I don't know if this is something I can tackle myself or need a pro. Also the drivers door gets hung up every time you open it. The door skin is not clipped tight to the door and catches on the door sill every time you open the door. I think the clips may be broken off.
I will post some pics tomorrow.
Well I have my work cut out for me. I hope with the VCA's help I will be able to return this car to something to be proud of.
Thanks
