Well I picked the car up today around 1 p.m. I took it to my buddies shop and we put it on a lift. Everything looks good on the frame- i can see where it was welded in 1 spot near the drivers rear wheel. The car does have air but it doesn't work. I will try a shot of freon. We changed the oil with mobil 1, changed the battery, and I took it home and cleaned it for about 6 hours. The car drives great. It is more comfortable than my vette (88) but gets very hot. It also seems faster then my vette with a 383 motor, even thought it's much quieter.
My main problems are the sagging front fender which is leaving a big gap between the fender and the hood. You can see it in the first pic. It makes the car look lik sh*t. I don't know if this is something I can tackle myself or need a pro. Also the drivers door gets hung up every time you open it. The door skin is not clipped tight to the door and catches on the door sill every time you open the door. I think the clips may be broken off.
I will post some pics tomorrow.
Well I have my work cut out for me. I hope with the VCA's help I will be able to return this car to something to be proud of.
Thanks
Garwood

Hopefully you only need your Door adjusted. Not difficult, especially with a helper.

Are the front fenders sagging? Or is it a hood adjustment?

Casey, I think it's the front fender sagging as I can push up on it and it moves closer to the hood- but there are also big gaps where the hood meets the mirrors. I am goint to go by a body shop later where I saw them working on vipers and see what they think.
Thanks

ACR has a gain of 10HP to 460 from stock GTS with 450. Foglights, AC and radio was delete, but could be ordered and most ACR's were ordered with. I believe only the serious trackracer would order it stock. The suspension is somewhat stiff, but play with the adjustment on the Koni's and you will have a great ride for cruising down the highway..citydriving is a different story. Afer looking at the pictures you have posted, I am pretty shure this car has had some frontdamage or sidedamage. It looks like the front facia has been pushed back and up, and has some disformation, but nothing worse than it is fixable or just adjust it and drive with a smile..all in all you got a nice deal and a great ride.

I didn't think the fog lights could be added back. I thought only the radio and air was part of the package.

The ACR package also removes the A/C, stereo and the foglights, however the comfort group adds those back in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the "comfort group" ONLY adds back the a/c and stereo...NOT foglights.

Correct- comfort group is A/C and radio - NOT fogs. Original thought was two fold - use the fog light opening for brake cooling (which turned out to be not feasible since the opening points directly at the tire and little/no room to get ducting around to the caliper) AND SCCA does not allow glass under the bumper on Club Racing Cars, so the fogs would have to go for T1 racing anyway.

Anyone know where to get a new console/armrest, mine is ripped. Also need the pads that support the rear hatch. There are holes in the body on either side of the hatch and it looks like something should be in there to go up against the window.
Here some pics

Well it has the the sticker on the side, the plate on the console, adjustable shocks, the k&n's with the smooth tubes, and there are sensors mounted to the tubes so I know someone didn't just put smooth tubes on it. What else should I look for?
