After almost a year, I finally got my new Mopar style wing put on at Chucks. Though you can't see it, this one is carbon fiber and uses three bolts on each side (I've read that some after market wings only use two bolts on each side). I want to thank Jon at Parts Rack for the great wing and Chuck (of course) for his usual super (and neat) work! By the way, this is how the grounds look after all the tree branches have been removed, except some still on side of driveway...was a big mess!

I feel your pain, but consider yourself fortunate ... here's a few pictures of our place after Hurricane Ike, we lost 12-15 trees (avg. 2-5' dia. trunk) in one night!

Jon B will tell you that it's called a "spoiler"...not a wing! :rolaugh:

And because I wanted to enjoy the experience of boring really big holes into my Viper, I installed my own spoiler.

Mopar-style is the way to go.

:2tu: Looks good (despite it being red)!

Looks great. I'd like to install one don't want to drill the trunk lid.

Time for some winglets up front?

Thanks all, it took awhile but was worth waiting for in my opinion. I know for some adding a rear wing/spoiler is not a big deal, but for me, it was a big decision...especially knowing you have to drill through the trunk, no turning back.

Slithr, we have a very tall willow in our front lawn and it got hammered. When we woke up, it looked like a battle zone out front...took quite a bit of work to get it cleaned up.

I like the look and how it changes the rear end appearance. I recently bought a carbon fiber rear spoiler from Jon B and so far I have left it in the carbon fiber color on my black 99 RT-10. I think I will leave it natural for now. I can always paint it later.

Richard, the natural carbon fibre looks nice on your black RT.

Jon B suggested that I try it in natural carbon fiber with the black car. It is dark enough that it seems to blend in nicely. I also like the pattern when the sun shines on it ( a rare occurence in the northwest). I appreciate your thoughts on it.

I really like the look of natural carbon fiber, but I thought it might look a bit "ricey" on a red RT. Again, looks great on a black RT! :2t
