Thanks for the cool Andras.
I never did figure out why those rich posers on Barret Jackson went to $250k for a $143k production car.

I appreciated the article very much.
What is really funny is enjoying hand rolled Cuban cigars at $5 for 25 units on the beach in Cuba. LOL.

Ford halted GT40 production many years ago. Are you referring to the Ford GT?

Nope...The GT40.

I thought I had put a smiley at the end of my original statement. This post was made in jest because of how "old" the news was.

In fact, GT40 production did stop many years ago. The new car the article refers to is the Ford GT. Ford could not call it the GT40 because they did not own the rights to the name.

If you read the article you will see the car is referred to as the Ford GT, not GT40. :p

No such car in production only the Ford GT.

No, I think that the news is old enough that he might be referring to the GT40. Also interesting news is that Datson is talking about changing their name to Nissan. I'd post a link but I don't know how to link to things that happened before Al Gore invented the internet.

After World War 2, during the reconstruction of Japan and Germany, the CEO of a Japanese automotive company calls the CEO of BMW.
The Japanese CEO says 'I need a name for my company.'
The CEO for BMW can't think of a name right away, so he asks when he needs the name by.
The Japanese CEO says by next week.
The BMW CEO says 'Dat soon.'
:p

OMG...

I JUST FOUND OUT...

THE SUN DOES not NOT not NOT, I repeat NOT revolve around the earth. Oh the humanity....

This contradicts the facts that we all know, that the EARTH is the center of the univerese.

Watch for a lot of up-heaval over this one, I personally am not going to believe it, until its proven.
