Check the posts. It was discussed not too long ago. I have posted data from it in the SRT forum. If I ever get my RT/10 on the road this summer I will try it out on it. I am in process of changing out the exhaust system (again) and broke the dammm radiator while draining the system. Crap!

The Gtech seems to work really well. Every drag strip run has been so close to the printouts, it's amazing. Don't trust the HP and torque unless you do a full 1/4 mile though.

Just braze it back, and never use it again...Use the lower rad hose, and don't forget the two plugs in the bottom of the block...I necked down a 3/8" extension on the bench grinder to fit these perfect...as they are a "square" socket...

I just bought the BelTronics version. It uses a two axis accelerometer. One for accelleration g-forces and one for side to side , lateral G-forces. It does 30mph runs, 40,50,60,70,80,100, 100 - 0 braking tests, cornering g-forces, etc Pretty neat thing..!

Rdustman - I entered 6200. Note that is only for when the light comes on. I do not think it does anything.

Gerald. The Comp pro is a 3 axis accelerometer. Once you calibrate it (semi-automatic) it is very repeatable. Very user friendly.

The only complaint I have to date is the HP/Torque versus rpm is not adjustable for the rpm range where it records the hp/torque. And it appears to be quite low in comparison to Dynojet measurement. The HP/torque versus time graph is much more usable. But again the readings are low.

What rollout distance have you all used? I have used 12" as I stage as far back as possible so as to avoid a red light the most and minimize the e.t.

i just finished all calibrations; i went with a 12" rollout, 3700lbs weight (car is 3440, im 230 and then theres fuel) i did the rpm at 6000 as opposed to 6200 which since its cutoff ill never consider hitting (

so; im ready to roll

bracket racing tonight 8:30 to midnight, im off to the track to kick asss and take data. im running these bfgs tonight at 17.5psi as opposed to my usual 20psi and im expecting 11.9-12.0's. its 91 degrees right now and humid enough to cut the air with a knife.

I don't have one of these, but it sounds like you use this feature for a shift light. Therefore, you would set the RPM limit based on your preferred shift point - which varies from Viper to Viper depending on mods, etc...

Sounds like a great little device/tool. That's all I need - another reason to speed....

Onerare you are correct. I have only used it on my SRT and it comes with a handy dandy built in shift light. For a shift light setting I would think more like 56-5700 rpm as there is a slight delay between the light and when you shift.

I do like the cornering lights though. I set them at .75 and .9 G. Lets me know reasonable limits for irregular and good surfaces, respectively. I hit the .75 at every on/off ramp that I can. Can't recall hitting the .9 but then again who is looking at the dash when doing a .9 corner?
