We all know that compression makes horespower the GTS in 9.6:1 what i am thinking of doing is milling the heads and using a thinner gasket gaining an extra point to a point and a half . Fisrt I would need to know the valve to piston clearence which I don't and second has anyone done this or heard of it being done.

Yes, this has been done to Vipers before. There was a discussion in great length a while back. Don't remember the results (gain or not) but I do remember that you will have to be aware of the clearance of the header bolts. Too much off will result in not being able to get the headers back on again.

and just to tack on a supplementary question, the lower the compression the better for turbo/supercharging, correct?
