GTS gas cap ????

Just purchased a 2000 GTS and like every other GTS I have seen, the gas cover/cap is on the passengers side rear pillar. However, looking at recent Dupont Registry pics I see several GTS vipers with cover/cap on drivers side. Is this just fake photography or what?????
