Mojo,
I saw one on a GTS in Bobby Archer's shop 2 weeks ago. It looks SWEEET! It is on a customers GTS with carbon fiber Oreca body panels. Unfortunately, Bobby says that it needs around $40,000.00 worth of engine management software to make it run correctly. I think he said it uses a Motec system. My brain stopped listening when he said $40,000.00.

It is probably cheaper overall to buy a used GTS-R. McCann was selling one for $165K. At least you get an authentic GTS-R with all the body panels.

I'm certainly no expert on such matters. But from what I understood him to say, the GTS R uses the Motec engine management system already so using that intake would not cost that much on those cars. The problem comes into play when you try to use the GTS R intake on a street car. I don't think that intake was ever intended to be used on the street. Like I said before, it sure looks nice, but for what it would take to get it up and running properly you could have one of the super tuners build you a really nice car. I'm not knocking the owner I just don't have that kind of money.

Happy Holidays

Power is gained with these by increasing your RPM range, unfortunately the notable increases dont come into play until your up there in the revs
