GTS third brake light out (sneaky Pete)

I can not seem to find any information anywhere about the third brake light on the 1996-2002 GTS replacement. Looking to find how to remove it and it seems like the whole housing needs to be replaced? Is your best guess the LEDs burnt out or is it a wiring issue?

I didn’t get any response back from this but wanted to help out the possible next person that may run into this issue. The “Sneaky Pete” 3rd brake light needs to be replace and fixed via the license plate lamp opening. There is a pressure clip that you need to pull down on to release the housing. Pretty simple but minimal room to fit your hand. Pictures below:

Once you remove the license plate lamp look up and you will see the metal clamp that holds it in place. You will need to pull down towards the ground to get this off. I noticed wiggling it side to side helped release it so I could pull it down.

The light will now simply push out and you can replace it. Reverse these steps to install.
