Guys What\'s a good price for my car?

My car has been sitting for awhile now in my garage and I am starting to think about letting her go.
I have a year old son who is handicapped and is taking up most of my free time.
I would much rather see this car enjoyed by someone rather than sit in my garage as a trophy..
1998 GTS silver. Vinyl stripes
36k miles
CCW wheels with Pilot sports. I say about 90% tread left.
Lowered with Eibach springs and realigned.
Smooth tubes and filters.
Jessel rockers and hardened pushrods.
VEC 2. purchased in June 04.
Corsa exhaust, Roe Hi flow cats.
Roe hoses,fan controller,clutch adjustment.
Mgw shift knob,cigarette lighter,A/C knobs.
Ebc green pads.
All Work, recalls and recent maintence including flushing of all fluids, new plugs and wires performed by Chuck Tator.
Probably some other stuff but I forget.
Second owner car no stories or accidents.
If there is a flaw I would say front facia needs to be repainted because of stone chips.
Tell me what you guys think would be a reasonable price.

Well, I researched the buying market a lot last winter, so my view isn't that current, but I'd say you're going to have a tough time finding the right buyer who'll give you what you'd like for the car with all the extras you've installed. The base car is still a '98 GTS with 36K, probably worth around 44 stock. Add in around 6-7K for extras and you're up around 50K plus, which most people wouldn't pay.
Guess, ask 48, take 46, or better yet sell as much stuff off it as you can and try to get as much for the base as you can. Good luck!

I would say ask $50k and take $46k. Buyers will usually pay for nice aftermarket wheels/tires.
Otherwise, it might not be a bad idea to sell the wheels/tires here, VEC2 like mentioned.
Those would be easy to sell here.
Then you could sell for less.

I agree with "Mike99ACR", as long as the car is not a financial burden, I would not sell the car for any less than $48,000. There are a lot of gen 1 owners who are looking to move up to a gen II and can appreciate what you have done to your car."HOLD ON! DON"T GIVE IT AWAY"

Hold your price, this an east coast car close to NY, not a lot around and bucks to go around, recent local sale for 94 GEN I on LI 44K. Go figure.

May even want to advertise in LI papers. Good Luck.

Naples Motorsport and CLEAN don't belong in the same sentence! :p

I visited there a couple years ago and was very disappointed in the place. But that was just my feeling after seeing what they had.

Ebay is bottom dollar only 9 out of 10 times.

I say around the high 40's and keep firm if that's where you want to be. I see more vipers for sale now than ever before. Seems the older years are going at the same market price.
