I posed the question on the H-Pipe to the Corsa engineers, here is their answer:
Probably smoother tone overall. Less noticeable pulsing alternating from side to side. Maybe slightly quieter overall. Uncertain of the benefit/affect near the drone area. I would think it would help, but I do not know how much it would specifically affect the amplitude/shape of the SPL plot. Problem is that the chassis may not allow for it, or would require something that hangs excessively low to make the connection. It would be very long as well, which would be something different that we do not normally deal with.
There is a small opening in the very back of the muffler cavity past the tip cutout that may or may not allow for some kind of pipe routing or connection, but we would have to find a way to take it back upstream in front of the outlet (see attached). I do not think an H pipe at this point would affect the muffler function since it would be downstream of the RSC. It would likely have some benefit or effect on the systemic resonance though which could potentially compliment the muffler function. I have no idea if the chassis would even allow for it in the middle, and we would likely have to use a small diameter pipe to make it work.
Someone with a Gen 4 may want to chime in, but, didn't the early Gen 4 cars have an H-Pipe? I thought I read an H-Pipe delete picked up HP. My Balenger exhausts on the Gen 2 have a small diameter H-Pipe in the rear close to the diff. Personally, i think a Gen 2 with Balenger headers and Balenger exhausts is about the best sounding Viper ever made.
