Hello all, after 8 months of searching, reading just about every post here, and doing research, my Viper is now in the Garage. It is a 2000 steel gray GTS, my second favorite color next to 96/97 Blue.
A little while ago people were talking about accidents happening while they were in the viper from people gawking and not paying attention to where they were going. I had my Viper less than five minutes yesterday and the same thing happened to me! I pulled out of the dealership, did a quick u-turn and pulled into a gas station across the street to fill her up. A gentleman about 45 years of age pulled into the gas station in a nice black GMC Denali, eyes fixated on my Viper. Being mezmorized, he proceeded to wipe out the left side of his gorgeous truck on a concrete pillar used to protect the gas pumps! I felt very bad for him, but had to chuckle to myself as I thought about the stories other people here had told.
Now I have figure out how to post some pics, join the club, etc.

Nice. Let's see some pics! Ironically, the steel gray is my second favorite color as well. Enjoy the new car and 'try' not to cause anymore accidents! Indirectly, your making our rates go up! J/K

And another CONGRATULATIONS to you. Exciting news.
It's amazing how powerful the looks of the Viper are - commanding such attention. Amazing. And it never gets old. It never wears off. It's like BAM! here I am. All eyes to me. I am your everything and all for the next few minutes of your life. Heh-heh.
