Early posted about hard to get into 1st gear sitting still. Problem fixed, after another full clutch bleed, and no fix. Before i started the replacement proceedure of master, slave and clutch, then worst case tranny. I called chuck tator. After about 2 mins of my explaination. He seemed to think the input spline could possible need cleaned and lubed. I see why they call him the wizard. I feel i owe him something at this point just from him saving me money. Before i actually dropped the tranny, cleaned and lubed the input shaft. I removed the flywheel cover and sprayed brake cleaner up into the clutch assembly. Got the car down, and what do ya know. It shifts better than it has shifted since ive owned it through all the gears. No more stuck shifts in first. I know if it happens again i may have to pull it and lube the spline. But it could have been just built up clutch dust, rust particles, who knows.

Be careful getting brake cleaner on the rear main seal, it may damage it. I use SimplGreen to spray when bleeding clutch. I had to replace rear seal on my GTS and was using brake cleaning. It wrinkled the seal.

i didnt drench it that bad, bent the brake cleaner hose up and just shot inside the clutch not on the back side of the flywheel. Good point though on the rear main. It was a shot in the dark that actually worked for me. Usually nothing is that easy.
