HARD TOP SELECTON

I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING A HARD TOP AND WINDOW SYSTEM FOR MY 94 RT/10 AND NEED A LITTLE DIRECTION. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE DOUBLE BUBBLE VIPER MAINIA IS THE BEST CHOISE FOR THE TOP AND WINDOWS BECAUSE OF FIT, FINISH, AND EASE OF INSTALL. PERSONALLY I LIKE THE WAY THE AUTOFORM SYSTEM LOOKS, BUT I WAS TOLD THAT THE TOP RATTLES, DOES NOT SEAL WELL, WINDOW ARE CHEAP AND DO NOT FIT WELL, AND IT IS HARD TO INSTALL AND REMOVE (TAKES TWO PEOPLE). ANYONE WITH ANY INFO WOULD BE A GREAT DEAL OF HELP. THANKS CHAD

Mopar top -- Looks good, but a PITA to install (have to remove soft-top bar). I have the double bubble mopar (slight bubbles) and I overall like it. With my Vmainia windows (the best IMHO) and the top on, I get little to no leaks. My leaks come from the velcro straps getting old. No biggie, swapping them out.

The Vmania top looks good, and their windows are excellent! I don't think you can go wrong with them.

I purchased my top and windows from VMania approximately a year ago and I've been extremely pleased.

The windows, with sliders on each side, install easily and are mildly tinted. The double bubble top provides considerably more room, is much quieter, and makes the interior look more complete. Moreover, the sport cap does not have to be removed to install it.

From the exterior it looks much better too.

I had my local Dodge dealership paint the top for $225.

I have seen the Vipermania top and agree the windows and top fit and look good.

I personally like the Mopar roof look the best. I would not say it is a pain taking off the sport pad, just takes a few extra minutes. But in my opinion well worth it. Since the sport pad is removed it appears that the Mopar roof sits lower and does not have as much of the "Top Hat" look. And the Mopar roof also has the double bouble look.

Did I talk to you about a soft top? Just curious.

Either way good luck with finding a top and getting your soft top fixed if you were who I talked to.

hey Ed are you saying my top looks like a "tophat"?? (I guess it does a little from the back) I think all the tops rattle a little I do like the low roofline of the mopar top, but it is harder to R/R. The Vmania top really looks the best with the Mopar style wing to reduce that tophat look. I need to get the Vmaina windows next as the stock ones leak like a sieve!

Does anybody have a pic of the V-Mania top from the back? I just bought one with the air scoop and traded my Mopar top in for it, but from the sounds of it, I don't like hearing the V-Mania top is more bubbly. And the Mopar top is a pain in the @ss to put on and take off!

I have the Autoform to on my 96 and it looks awesome. Very easy to put on and take off (light) but it does take two people. The fit is perfect and the inside finish is done right. The exterior is nice as well as posts go from the roof & down the side of the windshield - almost makes it look like a GTS! I have had several positive comments from club members and most seem to like it more than others out there. Windows fit well and you can see well out of them.

Hi Matt, you should have your top any day now, if for any reason you aren't happy you can return it. I just got back from Nashville and forgot my digital camera so I can't take a picture of the rear for you. I'll tell you that ours sits "flat" on the sports bar and the Mopar sits up about 1-2", we also took 2 Red Mopar tops in trade so if you want another one of those I've got it......P.S. our windows will also work with your soft top!!...Chad I'll give you a call sometime this afternoon once I get settled in, Thanks!!

I got the V-mania bubble top and Northwind windows. I absolutely love the top, as it's easy to put on and take off. The autoform top looks very good because it covers the a-pillars, but you've got to open the hood to unlatch the front. Also, the V-mania top has bolts that you insert from the BOTTOM of the sport cap, which eliminates any metal latches coming into contact with the top of your roll bar. V-mania's customer service is great too. The Mopar top looks as good as my V-mania, but I was totally turned off by having to removed the sport cap.
