I searched but couldn't find... Have any of you guys hardwired your ****** 9500ix into the rear view mirror? If so, what do I need and how do I do it?
Thanks!
Matt
Thanks!

$15 seems alot but it saves time finding the connectors and making up the cord. Someone posted which prong goes where but I forgot where. It's pins 2 and 7 I believe with pin 2 being hot. I can look at mine when i get it down from the lift (changing shocks and new Woodhouse trans mount).
I'm glad I ordered mine. Now it's tucked right against the mirror.
Sorry I didn't get back with the answer. Unplug the wide plug from the mirror. The power or yellow pin of the Invisicord plugs into hole #2 and the black or ground plugs into #7. #2 is a little tough to push in since there is another wire there but just hold the pin tight and slide it in. You may want to use a small pair of pliers but mine went in without. Plug it back into the mirror and the other end just plugs into the ******. All done.
Cool! Thanks Sal. Does the power cable unplug from the mirror easily? I'm a little confused which product I should buy on the Inviscord website, they list Micro Versions and Standard Versions. Is 8" what you used?
Just ordered it, thanks VERY much for your help Sal!
There's a company that sells the rear view mirror for the valentine 1 so the arrows show up in the mirror...here's what it looks like...

Wanted to bring this thread back. Are any of the wires behind the mirror have an ignition 12v signal. Looking for my ****** unit to power on and off with the ignition key.
Hmm, guess I never thought of that. What exactly is considered inactivity? Engine off or no switches being pressed? I only ask because if the radar detector is actively doing stuff with the power I'd wonder how the BCM might interpret it.
A word of caution; Do not tap into the existing mirror wire. You will enviably invite gremlins into your CanBus system.
