It's time for me to change my spark plugs. I found that split fire makes a set for the viper. Do they work? $8.00 for a pair and that would be $40.00 for the set. Or I could pay $20.00 for a set of Champions...any advice?
I did a search and did not find anything.

I have some antique spark plugs called "V-Gap" made for engines in the late 30's through 40's. Instead of splitting the ground electrode, they weld a V shaped piece to it - same thing.

University studies always show that initial spark kernel growth is dependent on ambient temperature, and that with more mass in the surroundings, the spark grows more slowly. Any extra metal near the point where the electric arc jumps across is going to slow things down. ...yes, makes you wonder about the 4- electrode plug a more reputable spark plug company sells, too.

If anything run a cooler NGK plug. I think that I have the model # somewhere. Or just replace them with the stock ones, can't go wrong there. While you are at it, get plug wires from Jon B, they do improve throttle response.
