Hi Race Fans -

If your in the Palm Beach area or making the loooong haul, your attendance for Race Day is imperative. Trophies will be awarded for separate classes, no-matter if your an experienced racer or just enjoy friendly competition, this race is for you! Last year we had an incredible time and this year should be no different. Don't expect this to be a "Run Away Race" by any means, the competition will have to Edge-Out a Victory in the Unlimited Class. The Street Tire Class will challenge your driving skills and can Simply Embarrass the high horsepower cars.

This is a once in a year event and should offer an unparalleled weekend for all of us!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you,
Doug

Doug,

We will be there shining the Bowling trophy for you and Scott! LOL!

We will be at the Embassey Suites at I-95 and PGA blvd on Friday nite(561-622-1000). Look us up as we will be ready to cruise the town for some pre-race action.

See you then,

Tom

BTW, the "bowling trophy" came from Prashant. That guy has some funny stuff from time to time!

What about the Speedtrial on Sunday. Anyone going to that? Do you have to be pre-qualified before attending, ie. experienced driver? I have never went to such an event before but I'm thinking of going. Any more info?

Hi Mes -
This one you'll have to address Brooks, he'll be able to answer that one for you. I'm glad to see your going. I may not make it to the road race; As far as I know I'll be attending Sundays Moroso race to witness the Pro 5.0 guys run 200 mph!

Tom -
This race will be up for grabs! Too many fast cars like yours for anybody to assure themselves a win. One the other hand, I do feel a bit luckier on the Race Track than I do in Las Vegas

.

Sean -
I will go over the classes at the track so all of us can agree on "fair ground."
And yes, there will be a class for you, as long as the street tires are OEM.

Thanks for your response guys... I will see you all soon.

Hey, can anyone give me directions from Tampa? I would love to take a trip down in my GTS to spectate. I have Hennessey CatBack exhaust and carbon fiber intake only, so I believe I would be in the modded division. I would get slaughtered, but I would love to see the comptetition!!

Last time I drove to Tampa I took route 60 across the state then used the Florida Turnpike (Yeehaw Junction) for the rest of the trip. Seems like the fastest way. Here is a link with some directions I just hope we have some good weather, its been cloudy and raining most of the week.

Dear Doug Levin,

Have a great race. Remember the object of racing the 1/4 mile is to stay BETWEEN the wall to the right and the center of the two lanes. There is no shortcut in flipping over 3 times in the air and hitting part of the power line as you found out a year or so ago. We all know your car can fly, but please, PLEASE stay on the ground this time. We need you around to finish up our cars. HINT HINT
p.s. getting into wrecks is a gibromie (sp?) way of meeting nurses.

If you find it hard to contain the gerbils, I would recommend a habitrail gerbil tunnel for the crazzzy GERbils.

That goes for you too TOM. Keep the gerbils safe , will ya'?

Good luck, have a great event and be safe (ie Doug dont try to race anyone in the stands). I am sure that the smack talkers over here will be looking forward to comparing time slips on Monday. Have fun,

- This time out I don't intend to mow any lawns; That means I drive myself home, thank you.

Besides, Gerald lent me his lucky gerbils foot!

Regards,
Doug
