Headlight housing

I was hoping someone on the forum could point me in the right direction of for finding the housing for headlights. They have oxidized and after refinishing the surface, it only shows that the inner surface is oxidized as well. From the dealer it was about $650+ each if I'm not mistaken. Can they be taken apart for a cleaning or am I going to have to shell out the cash? Any ideas?

They are easily disassembled as seen in the links. I am curious as to how you got oxidation on the insides. Toothpaste should help clear some of that up but I would just disassemble them and clean with a light cleaner first.
