Heater door repair

Didnt realize how expensive these cars are to work on. A simple heater door and actuator means removing the whole dash. I got the price down to 1400 which is still a lot of money. I called some top people here on the forum, and they confirmed the job at hand. The price started at 1900 but we negotiated it down. Im still sick about this, my new investment is getting way more expensive then i wanted.
You live and you learn, never buy a car without having it checked out.Even though i would of never caught this problem, because the heater core hose wasn't connected.And the AC works fine plus it was 90 degrees. Oh well it could be worse!!!

Vipers have heaters? Thought the motor was the heater.

But in reality most of the vipers parts are really easy to access. Removing the dash is a cinch, just have to get past the price of parts.
