Helmet Needed?

I have a Bell I purchased from Archer in 2006. It has a Cut
date of 2006, but I cannot find any Snell/SA number anywhere.
I assume a helmet made after 2005 would be rated at
2005 standards, but is there any other way to be sure?

Grab the helmet, inside the lower rear portion of the helmet, gently fold the padding. Under the padding, stuck to the inside of the helmet "case", there should be a sticker, normally red or orange color with letter and number printed on it. It will likely have "SNELL SA 2005" printed on this label.

I found a place in VA that rents helmets. It's OG racing. May be too late for many of you even if you live in the area. I purchased mine but I got a $400 Bell, full face helmet for my son for $35, good for 10 days. Simply awesome! Google them on the internet or see if you have a similar place in your area. See you there!
