HELP..........\'94 R/T 10 sportcap

Today, I removed my Vmania hardtop and noted that the sportcap was loose. That must explain the rattle I've been hearing......HELLO!

There appeared to be 4 round knurled knobs which were all loose. I've tried to rotate each one in an attempt to tighten the sportcap, but none seem to have gained a purchase into a threaded receptor. It's still loose!

Not being the sharpest knife iin the drawer, I'm sure I've missed something quite simple because I know the sportcap has to be removed to accommodate the Mopar top.

Don,
Look right where the factory soft top clips to the sports bar and look right to the outside of each of the latch brackets from the underside. You will find a bolt that has a tightening clamp--Just take a wrench to it. Hope this helps. BTW how do you like your V-Mania top. I just ordered one but it has yet to arrive. Some say that it is to "BUBBLY" What do you think?

The Vmania top is great. I've had mine for about 15 months and it's all I had hoped. Looks great, adds interior room, and completes the interior look of the car.
