Help Battery Dead

Somehow the rear deck lid got left open just a bit and the battery went dead after about 4-5 days. Question: After I jump start the car how long will it take for the computer to relearn whatever it is supposed to learn after losing electrical power? thanks, Fred

I would find a battery charger and charge it that way. When you jump start it the alternator will work VERY hard to recharge the battery and I have seen it burn them out.

Mine has gone dead several times and I had no computer problems

Take it for a few drives. It may take a day or two at the most for the computer to relearn.

If the battery is not a good part of the way charged and you try and start it and it starts slow you will more then likely get a check engine light with some B.S. code
