Help! Car won\'t crank after battery change!

The lights work, the door locks work, the clock works, the battery is properly installed, but the ignition key won't do anything at all. Not even a buzz. I disconnected the negative terminal again and reconnected it (no, the cables aren't on backwards), but still no luck. The headlights and all lights are bright. I did the burglar alarm check per the manual, locking door with door switch and the door open. The alarm flashed on and off for 15 seconds per the owner's manual. The shop manual doesn't mention any problem with changing batteries (it's a sealed Mopar made for this 2005 SRT/10). Any suggestions?

I know its a stupid question but did you put it in neutral and push the clutch in?

Oh, yeah. I suspect the new battery is low on voltage. If so, I'm charging it, but I wonder if I need a new replacement if it has been discharged before I bought it?

when you disconnected the battery, the car went into theft mode. Put the key in the keyhole under the driver side mirror and turn the key that should let you start it. Pull key out put in ignition and you should be good to go

Check the connection of the battery terminals, make sure they are CLEAN OF RUST.

You can have a fully charged battery, but if the terminals do not have a good connection all the minor stuff will work, but when you go to crank it, not enough voltage passes through.

The tow truck took it away today. The starter would spin when jumped without the relay, but I don't have a clue as to what is wrong-except that it's electrical. Possibly something wrong with the starter connection from the clutch.
