HELP!!! HRE Wheel Concern!!!

It almost felt like Christmas, my HRE wheels arrived and like a kid I hurridly opened the 4 boxes. You should have seen my smile, my son said "dad, get a life" He'll understand when he's older...I'm sure. Anyway, my smile turned to confusion. The wheels didn't seem to be exactly right. My HRE 540 Classics did't look the same. The front are not "exactly" like the rears.
The polished chrome from the lip of the wheel to the fork and "Y" design (Hope you follow this part) is a different depth.
The front chrome lip is approx. 1 1/2 inches and the rears approx. 3 1/2 inches. Again the front and rear are not identical! Does anyone know if this is right or wrong????
Is there anyone out with HRE 540 classic who can let me know if this right. Its a surprise to me if it is!

If the rears are a differant size the lip may very well be larger
on the rears.
I don't know about yours for sure though?

I too bought my HRE's from Jon @ PartsRack. Just got them last week and put them on this past Friday. You are right...the fronts are not set in as deep as the back wheels. Believe it or not I said the same thing that you did and was able to ask my tech if they were right. He informed me (with an awful lot of viper technical discussion) that the wheels were correctly made and that they fit on the car correctly. I have now been able to drive the car for a day or so and believe it or not, the car gets even "more" attention with the HRE's.
